About

I value collaborative relationships with colleagues and look forward to learning from and alongside other members of the CCCR. During my professional leave in 2019-20, I focused for the first time on community-based participatory research, and I am eager to continue exploring research methodologies that center the needs of the community.

Much of my scholarship has focused on psychological trauma, with an emphasis on sexual violence and intimate partner violence. My empirical work is informed by my involvement in community agencies and organizations that serve individuals who have experienced interpersonal violence and work towards transforming systems in order to reduce and prevent sexual and intimate partner violence.
