About

My program of research aims to illuminate the lived experiences of individuals navigating chronic illness and trauma. I am dedicated to understanding the complex interplay of physical health, mental health, and life experiences, with a particular focus on how individuals find meaning, cultivate wisdom, and develop resilience in the face of adversity.

In my pursuit of knowledge, I am committed to infusing multiculturalism and social justice principles into our research. I recognize the profound impact of cultural, societal, and systemic factors on health and wellbeing, and strive to honor the diverse identities and experiences of our research participants.

Through rigorous research, compassionate inquiry, and a commitment to equity and inclusivity, I aim to empower individuals, inform healthcare practices, and influence policy to enhance overall wellbeing and quality of life for those living with chronic illness and trauma. I believe in the power of human resilience, the importance of cultural competence, and the necessity of social justice in health research.
